Changelog · 22 July 2026

Put current Shopify app MRR on the wall.

Marlo now creates a restricted JSON URL for a Smiirl Custom Counter or similar physical display, using the same app, currency and customer scope as its MRR reporting.

What shipped

  1. 01Named display URLs for one Shopify app or all tracked apps
  2. 02A required reporting currency with no mixed-currency totals
  3. 03The Smiirl-compatible response format
  4. 04Owner/admin controls to test, rotate and revoke a display
  5. 05Last-requested timestamps and audit events
  6. 06Per-token rate limiting and inactive-workspace protection
{"number":1200}

What it will not expose

The display response contains one rounded number. It never contains merchant domains, customer identities, subscriptions, transactions or authentication credentials. The URL itself is a high-entropy secret and should still be rotated if it leaks.

Set it up

Follow the step-by-step Smiirl setup guide for prerequisites, verification, troubleshooting, rotation and revocation.

Use the method on your own data

Marlo keeps definitions beside the relevant report and detail views.
