Changelog · 22 July 2026

Development stores no longer need to distort commercial reports.

Marlo now separates source classifications from audited workspace overrides and excludes confidently non-commercial stores without deleting their history.

What shipped

  1. 01Unknown, Production, Development, Test, Staff, Frozen and Other non-commercial classifications
  2. 02Automatic classification from Shopify frozen status
  3. 03No domain-name or store-name guessing
  4. 04Source and effective classifications on customer profiles and exports
  5. 05Reasoned overrides for authorised members
  6. 06The same default exclusion in reports, exports, MCP and public MRR displays

Conservative by design

Shopify Partner's shop object does not expose the Shopify Admin store-plan field. Marlo therefore leaves unsupported cases Unknown and included. Teams can record a verified override now, while future authenticated Admin signals can replace manual work without changing the reporting definition.

Set it up

Use the development-store reporting guide to review a source value, record an override and verify the report difference.

Use the method on your own data

Marlo keeps definitions beside the relevant report and detail views.
